How we work with you

We can treat the whole tattoo, or target specific areas or colours that stand in the way. We can be fairly precise, too – down to 3mm precision.

We don’t pretend to know how to tattoo. We leave that to you! Show (or tell) us the bits limiting your cover up, and we’ll keep treating them until you say it’s ready.

What we can (and cannot) do

Our laser uses different wavelengths to target different colours.

• Black, brown, green, blue, and purple (1064nm)
• blues and greens (730nm)
• reds and oranges (532nm)

Yellows and white tones we cannot treat.

Blow out or ink drift? We can treat that, too! This is usually a one-and-done kind of situation

General Timeline

Individual needs will vary, but in general:

1. You let us know what needs to be targeted – whether it’s the whole thing, or that dark bit over
2. We’ll treat it
3. You check it out at least 2 months later (3 or more is better) – in person is best, as cameras can darken or heighten the contrast
4. You dictate if it needs another treatment, or if you’re ready to get covering

Generally we’ll need to treat it at least 1-4 times, about 12 weeks apart – which means your client is back in your chair in as early as 3-12 months – or more.

There are exceptions on either end. Fine line tattoos or older ink could take less. Bolder styles, like tribal, could take more.

It also depends on what style you’re covering up with: fine line will require near complete removal, while bolder styles will need less fading.
