Someone offers you a “complete removal package” and it feels like peace of mind. One price, no surprises.
But these packages are designed to benefit the business, not you.
Let’s talk about why.
What If Your Goals Change?
You’re three sessions into your removal package and realize you’d rather get a cover-up than keep removing. Or you’ve faded it enough that your artist says they can work with it now.
With a package? You’ve already paid for treatments you don’t need. Some places might offer partial refunds, many don’t. Either way, you’re stuck choosing between cutting your losses, or continuing treatments.
Our approach: Pay as you go. Change your mind anytime. Your choice.
What If You Don’t Need All Those Sessions?
Every tattoo responds to laser tattoo removal differently.
That package might be unlimited – and it may have made sense if you needed 12 or more sessions. But what if your tattoo is mostly gone after 8?
Or you could achieve the same results with fewer treatments by spacing them further apart, allowing your body time to process out the ink.
With packages, there’s a financial incentive to keep you coming back. You’ve already spent the money and you want to get the most bang for your buck – even when longer gaps would serve you better.
Our approach: We recommend 12+ week gaps between sessions because that’s what gets you the best results. Not because it’s profitable, but because it works.
What If You’re Not Happy?
You’re five sessions in and notice certain colours aren’t budging. You ask about it and learn their laser can’t effectively target those wavelengths.
Or maybe your favourite tech leaves and the new person is fresh out of training.
Or you’re just not happy with the service.
With a package, you’re stuck. You can walk away, but you’re eating hundreds or thousands of dollars. Or you keep going somewhere you don’t trust because “might as well use it.”
Our approach: You’re never locked in. If you’re not happy, we want to know – and you’re free to go elsewhere. (Though we’d rather fix whatever isn’t working.)
The Pressure is the Point
The sales pitch plays on anxiety:
“Lock in your price now before we raise rates!” “What if it takes more sessions than expected?” “This package won’t be available next week…”
This pressure isn’t there to help you make a good decision. It’s there to get you to commit money before you’ve seen how your tattoo actually responds to treatment.
Our approach: No pressure. Book your consult, see how your first treatment goes, decide if you want to continue. We’re confident enough in our work that we don’t need to lock you in.
Redefining Value
Shorter spacing means more sessions, which feels like more value.
Some providers push 4-6 week spacing between sessions. This means more treatments in less time, which makes that package seem like a better deal.
But here’s what our experience shows: longer spacing (12+ weeks) allows your body to fully process the ink particles we shattered. Treating too soon means the laser can’t “see” past the cloud of particles still being cleared, resulting in less effective treatments.
In other words, you end up needing more total sessions because each one is less effective.
Our approach: We aim to space sessions 12+ weeks apart minimum – often longer, sometimes shorter. One well-spaced treatment can do the work of two poorly-spaced ones. Fewer sessions saves you time and money.
Our Alternative: Good Things Come in Small Packages
We do offer one package option: 3-packs at 10% off.
Why this works:
- Small commitment: Enough to see real progress, not so much that you’re locked in long-term

- Flexibility: Never expires, transferable, non-refundable but that’s it – no fine print
Example: Three Tier 3 sessions normally cost $750 + GST. A 3-pack costs $675 + GST – you save $75.
If you want more after that? Buy another 3-pack. Or don’t. Totally up to you.
Time is On Your Side
Here’s the beautiful thing about laser tattoo removal: your body keeps working even after we stop treating.
If money is tight, just space your sessions further apart. We’ve had clients do one or two treatments a year and still see excellent results because the fading continues for months after each session.
You’re not racing against the clock. There’s no expiration date on your skin.
