How it Works

- We’ll review your application and get back to you within a day or two, Wednesdays – Sundays
- Book your free consultation where we’ll discuss your goals and answer questions
- Start your treatments – often we can do your first session right after the consultation
What You Need
For gang-affiliated tattoos or hateful symbolism, approval is straightforward – unless the tattoo is not a recognizable gang or hateful sign.
For tattoos related to drug use, domestic violence, or human trafficking, we ask for a letter of support from your:
- parole officer
- social worker
- community outreach worker
- mental health worker
- sponsor
- doctor
Don’t have access to a support person? Reach out anyways. We’ll figure it out together.

New Legacy Program
Common Questions
Will I be approved? If your tattoo is gang-affiliated, hateful, or related to prison, drug use, domestic violence, or human trafficking – and you’re ready to move forward – you’ll likely qualify. When in doubt, just apply or reach out.
How long does removal take? It varies, but most people need multiple sessions spaced 12+ weeks apart. We’ll give you realistic expectations at your consultation.
What if I can’t get a letter of support? Contact us anyway. We’d rather work with you to find a solution than have you not apply.
What if I miss an appointment? Life happens. Just let us know as soon as possible. Repeated no-shows without notice means we’ll pause your participation, but you can reconnect with us in 6-12 months.
Does it hurt? It’s uncomfortable but manageable. Feels like a hot elastic band snapping on your skin. We use a cooling system to reduce sensation.
Is it really free? We offer sliding scale pricing based on what you can afford. For some people, that’s free. For others, it’s reduced rates. We work with you.
