Partner with Legacy
TLDR:We partner with organizations to provide pro bono and sliding scale tattoo removal for your clients. Once we get to know one another, it’s a simple referral process – just text, call, or email us with a name, and we’ll book them in for a free consult.
You’re already doing the hard work of helping people rebuild their lives. Let’s remove one more barrier.
Our Impact So Far
In our first two years of business, we’ve worked with 21 individuals through our New Legacy Program.
- 50 treatments provided
- Over $14,000 in services
- $6,350 total collected (the rest pro bono or heavily discounted)
But those numbers don’t capture the real impact: people walking in guarded and closed off, then opening up over multiple sessions as visible barriers literally fade from their skin.
Who We Serve
Through the New Legacy Program, we remove tattoos associated with:
- human trafficking
- gang affiliation
- hateful symbolism
- prison tattoos
- drug use
- domestic violence
Outside of our New Legacy Program, we also provide free:
- radiation dot removal (must be cancer free at least 12 months)
- track mark / needle mark removal (often one session, but extra support recommended)
Our Current Partners
We’re proud to work with:
- enCompass (previously John Howard’s Society)
- The Today Centre
- individual parole officers throughout Alberta
How Partnership Works
It’s simple:
- Connect with us – Fill out the form below or just call/text Jake at 825-925-7398 (our business cell)
- We build a relationship – Learn about your clients’ needs and how we can best support them
- You refer clients – Text, call, or email us with a name and any relevant context
- We take it from there – Free consultation, assessment, and treatment plan
Note: A referral doesn’t guarantee automatic approval, but it gets them in the door for a free consultation where we’ll assess their situation and discuss options.
Benefits for Your Clients
This may be pro bono or sliding scale laser tattoo removal – but that doesn’t mean it’s a cheap service.
By utilizing our New Legacy Program, your clients get access to:
- Experienced team – Madi has been removing tattoos since 2016, trained by Edmonton legend Ben Alway and certified by the International Laser Academy
- Advanced technology – PicoWay laser safe for all skin types
- No judgment zone – We’ve been on both sides of the laser
- Flexible scheduling – Wednesday-Sunday, 10am-6pm
- Realistic expectations – We’re honest about timelines and outcomes
Benefits for Your Organization
Once we establish a partnership:
- All individuals you refer receive 50% pricing – even if their tattoo doesn’t quite meet our core criteria
- Your staff receives 20% off all services as a thank you
- Streamlined referral process – just a text or email
- Regular updates on client progress (with their permission)
- We handle the logistics – consultations, scheduling, aftercare
How You Can Help
The biggest thing? If you could provide transport to the first consultation – or even subsequent treatments – this is one of the biggest hurdles still.
What We Expect from Clients
- arrive on time and sober to appointments
- let us know if they can’t make it, preferably with 24 hours notice
Repeated no-shows without notice are grounds for a pause to their participation (they can reconnect in 6-12 months). But we understand life happens.
Let’s Connect
Fill out the form below and we’ll get back to you within a few days, Wednesdays through Sundays.
Or skip the form and contact Jake directly by phone or email.

Common Questions
How long does tattoo removal take? It varies significantly based on the tattoo, but most people need multiple sessions over 6-24+ months, even 5 years. We space treatments 12+ weeks apart to allow the body to process the ink particles.
What if the ink is unusual? Prison tattoos often use unconventional inks (soot, pen ink, etc). Most respond well, but some present challenges we won’t know until we test. We’ll be upfront about what we see.
Can you remove tattoos on all skin types? Yes, but darker skin tones require more conservative settings and longer gaps between sessions. Our experience helps us navigate this safely.
What if they can’t get a support letter? We’d rather work with them directly than have that be a barrier. If you’re connected to them through your organization, that relationship is often enough context for us.
Do you offer complete removal or just fading? Both. Some people want tattoos completely gone, others just want to fade them enough for a cover-up. We work toward whatever their goal is.
