About Legacy Tattoo Removal
We’re Edmonton’s most experienced laser tattoo removal team, specializing in fading for cover-ups and complete removal.
What makes us different:
Experience that matters. Co-owner Madi Rawson has been removing ink since 2016, trained directly by the late Edmonton laser legend Ben Alway and certified by Lorenzo Kunze Jr of the International Laser Academy.
Part of the tattoo community. We’re not adversaries to tattoos – we’re part of Edmonton’s tattoo ecosystem. We work directly with local artists to fade tattoos for cover ups, targeting specific sections or colors to get clients back in their artist’s chair sooner. We created edmonton.ink to showcase local talent and give back to the community.
Education-focused. We bring Lorenzo Kunze Jr to Edmonton annually to train our team on the latest techniques and research. We’re committed to lifting the entire laser industry through open dialogue about the science behind tattoo removal.
Making removal accessible. Our New Legacy Program offers pro bono and sliding scale pricing for removing gang-affiliated tattoos, hate symbols, prison tattoos, and tattoos from domestic violence or human trafficking situations. We also remove radiation dots (for cancer survivors 12+ months cancer-free) and track marks at no charge.
Proudly independent. 100% Canadian-owned and operated. No corporate chains, no high-pressure sales, no shareholders. Just tattooed Albertans helping people transform their skin.
